I (CEO/FOUNDER – Christopher Duckett) was born and raised in Canada and that is where my passion for sunglasses first came about. My grandmother is the biggest inspiration in my life and without her I don’t think I would be where I am today. She has a flare and love for style unlike anybody I know. We are much the same in many ways. Other than her being 54 years older than me. I really don’t see many differences in our sense of style. She wears my clothes and I wear hers. It becomes quite the battle at times when I find an amazing shirt thrifting, I have to tear it out of her hands and I quote, “Come on Christopher, this would look much better on me. Let me have this one”. I am very grateful to have her pass down her wisdom and love for style down to me. Neither one of us planned to start a company and or brand, but here we are. I treat her with the upmost respect because that is what she has always done for me without hesitation.

The moment in which I am writing this story, I am living in the countryside in Northern Estonia (1 hr from Tallinn, the Capital). I found this was the ideal place to get my company going (OLD MAN PRODUCTIONS OÜ / HER) and have my head clear, especially amidst the start of the Corona Virus. From morning to night, most if not all I think about in some way is related to sunglasses and/or vintage. I am very truly happy to have found my passion!
